Introduction
The department of chemical engineering started its meritorious journey in 1994, with the objective of moulding young minds with outstanding excellence in the field of chemical engineering and technology. The department has always been on a high growth path that has experienced and dedicated faculty with strong commitment to engineering education who work with zeal and enthusiasm to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment.
The periodically updated curriculum imparts technical knowledge to the student and the application based environment in the state of art laboratories compliments the same. The students are motivated to participate in paper presentation, workshops and seminars that are essential to maintaining proficiency. Right from the beginning, the department has emphasised on supporting and guiding students in making smarter career decisions by providing professional guidance and connecting them with prospective employers. A large percentage of students also quality respective competative exams for perusing higher studies in India and abroad.
In keeping with the department vision, the holistic development of the students is focused upon that instils a habit of continued learning and sense of responsibility in them to contribute towards the betterment of society.
